Subject: Maintaining a Respectful, Harassment-Free Workplace

Team,

At Leeds West Groups (LWG), we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace where every team member feels valued, supported, and able to do their best work. Harassment, discrimination, retaliation, or any behavior that creates a hostile or intimidating environment is not tolerated and is inconsistent with our values, culture, and legal obligations. This expectation applies at all times, including during work hours, at work-related events, in customer interactions, while representing the company in any way, and in any work-connected setting or communication.

Why This Matters

  • Respect & Dignity: Every team member deserves to be treated professionally and with respect.

  • Safety & Well-Being: Harassment and hostile behavior undermine psychological safety and can escalate into broader safety concerns.

  • Legal Compliance: Our policies align with federal, state, and local employment laws.

  • Positive Culture: A respectful workplace supports collaboration, accountability, and long-term success.

What Is Considered Harassment or Discrimination?

Harassment or discrimination may be verbal, physical, visual, written, or digital and includes, but is not limited to:

  • Unwelcome comments, jokes, slurs, or remarks based on protected characteristics.

  • Sexual harassment, including unwelcome advances, inappropriate contact, or suggestive behavior.

  • Bullying, intimidation, humiliation, or repeated demeaning behavior.

  • Visual or digital misconduct that affects the workplace.

  • Retaliation against anyone who reports concerns or participates in an investigation.

This list is not exhaustive. Any behavior that creates a hostile, intimidating, offensive, or abusive work environment is prohibited.

Your Role

  • Treat others with professionalism and respect.

  • Be mindful of how your words and actions impact others.

  • Speak up early if you experience or witness inappropriate behavior.

  • Participate in required training and follow company policies.

Reporting & Support

If you experience or witness harassment, discrimination, or retaliation:

  • Report the concern to your supervisor or Human Resources as soon as possible.

  • If your supervisor is unavailable, involved, or the issue is sensitive, contact HR directly.

  • All reports are taken seriously and handled with appropriate confidentiality.

  • Retaliation and false or malicious allegations are strictly prohibited.
