Supervisor Weekly Timesheet Authorization Procedures

Follow these steps to review and authorize your team’s time in Dayforce:

  1. Log in to Dayforce (Manager Role)

    • Access Dayforce using your Manager role.

    • From the Main Menu, navigate to “Time Review.”

  2. Load the Correct Pay Week

    • Confirm you are reviewing the current and correct pay week before making any approvals.

  3. Review Each Team Member’s Time Entries
    Expand each team member’s timesheet and review for:

    • Missed or incorrect punches

    • Overtime accuracy

    • Proper meal and rest break recording

    • Any pending exception or correction requests

  4. Resolve Any Errors or Corrections

    • Make necessary corrections directly in the timesheet.

    • Instruct the team member to review and authorize (or reauthorize) their time after corrections are made.

  5. Authorize the Timesheet

    • Once the timesheet is accurate and complete, click “Authorize” for each team member.

  6. Alternate Access Option

    • The same review and authorization steps can also be completed by navigating to “Timesheets” from the main menu.
