My Payroll Funds Are Not in My Bank Account on Payday. What Do I Do Next?

At Leeds West Groups, we understand how important it is for payroll funds to be delivered accurately and on time. Most payroll funding issues are related to bank processing timing or direct deposit setup, and many resolve quickly once the correct steps are followed.

 

Quick Answer
Payroll funding times vary by banking institution. Please allow your bank until 12:00 PM local time on payday to post your direct deposit before taking next steps.

 

What to Do If Your Funds Are Not Available by 12:00 PM

  1. Confirm your direct deposit information in Dayforce
    Verify your routing number, account number, and account type are entered correctly.

  2. If the information is correct, contact your bank
    Ask your bank if the funds are pending or why the deposit has not yet been released.

  3. If the information is incorrect, update it immediately & Contact HR
    After updating your direct deposit, submit a ticket to HR for further assistance.

 

How to Update Direct Deposit in Dayforce

  1. Log in to Dayforce using the app or web login.

  2. Select the Menu (☰ icon) in the top left corner.

  3. Select Profile.

  4. Select the Forms tab at the top of the Profile page.

  5. Complete and submit the Direct Deposit form.

 

Important Reminder

It is extremely important to carefully verify all direct deposit information when entering it into Dayforce. Incorrect routing or account numbers will result in delayed payroll funding.
