When Is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment is held once each year and typically lasts 10-14 days between October and December. Exact dates are announced closer to the enrollment period. LWG Open Enrollments often require mandatory participation, even if you are not making any changes or do not wish to enroll in benefits coverage for the coming plan year.

 

What Is Open Enrollment?

Open Enrollment is the annual opportunity for team members to:

  • Review current health, dental, and vision coverage

  • Add or remove dependents

  • Change benefit plan elections

  • Waive coverage for the upcoming plan year

Elections made during Open Enrollment generally take effect on January 1 of the following calendar year.

 

Important Reminders

  • Open Enrollment is the only time you may make benefit changes unless you experience a qualifying life event.

  • All benefit elections and changes must be completed in Dayforce.

  • If no changes are made, current elections do not carry over to the next plan year, unless otherwise communicated.

  • It's important that you have Dayforce notifications enabled on your mobile device and your personal email is kept up to date in Dayforce to ensure you receive important communications throughout the year.

 

How You Will Be Notified

  • Open Enrollment dates and instructions will be communicated in advance. Typically, these communications are sent to team members through Dayforce messages or e-mails.

  • Additional information, plan details, and resources will be provided to help you make informed decisions.
