If a background check result does not meet LWG’s employment requirements, the Company will review the information and determine appropriate next steps, which may include termination of employment.

 

How This Works

  • Conditional Employment: Employment with LWG is conditional upon meeting all required pre-employment criteria, including successfully passing a background check.

  • Review Process: If information is returned after employment has started, LWG will review the results in accordance with company policy and applicable laws.

  • Individual Assessment: Decisions are made based on the nature of the information, including but not limited to: frequency, severity, job-related relevance, the team member's role, legal requirements, and company standards.

  • Possible Outcomes: Outcomes may range from continued employment with no action to termination of employment.

 

Important Notes

  • Legal Compliance: All background check reviews and employment decisions are handled in compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

  • No Guarantee of Continued Employment: Passing a background check is a condition of employment. Failure to meet this condition may result in separation from employment or the rescission of a job offer.

  • Confidentiality: Background check information is handled confidentially and shared only with those who have a business need to know.
