If you’ve recently moved or need to update your personal address, you can easily make the change in Dayforce. Please follow the steps below to ensure your address is updated correctly and that our system keeps accurate historical records.
Steps to Change Your Address in Dayforce:
- Log in to Dayforce
- Open your web browser and go to https://www.dayforcehcm.com/mydayforce/mydayforce.aspx.
- Enter your company ID, username, and password to log in to your account.
- Access Your Personal Information
- Once logged in, select your “Profile” in the main menu
- Navigate to “Forms” tab within your Profile
- Under the “Personal” section, find and select “Address” to view your current address information.
- End Date Your Current Address
- Before entering your new address, end date your current address. This means setting an end date for your old address to keep historical records intact.
- To do this:
- Locate your current address and scroll to the right until you see the “End Date” field.
- In the “End Date” field, enter the date that your old address should no longer be valid. This should typically be the last day you lived at the old address.
- Save the changes.
- Add Your New Address
- Select the “Add” button.
- Fill in the fields with your updated address information (primary residence, street address, city, state, zip code, etc.).
- Important: Be sure to set the start date for the new address as the date immediately following the end date of your old address to ensure there are no gaps in your records.
- Save Your Changes
- Once you've entered your new address and effective date, click “Save” or “Submit” to update your information.
- Your new address will now be active in the system.
Why Entering the Correct Dates Matters
- End-dating the old address ensures that your historical records remain accurate. This way, the system knows when the address change took place, and your past records won’t be confused with your new address.
- Start-dating your new address is just as important to ensure that it’s recognized as your current address, starting from the correct date.
This process helps us keep accurate records and ensures that you receive communications at your correct address moving forward.
