At Leeds West Groups, payroll deductions are handled in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. We are committed to transparency and want team members to clearly understand what deductions may appear on their pay statement and why.

Quick Answer
Some payroll deductions are required by law, while others are voluntary and authorized by you. All deductions are itemized on your pay statement in Dayforce.

  • Federal, state, local, Social Security, and Medicare tax withholdings

  • State-mandated disability insurance or paid leave deductions, where applicable, based on the state in which work is performed

  • Court- or agency-issued wage garnishments, such as:

    • Child support or spousal support orders

    • Tax levies

    • Student loan garnishments

    • Creditor-issued garnishments

    • Medical support notices
