Immediate Family

Up to ten (10) consecutive workdays days of unpaid bereavement leave

PTO may be used during this time if available and approved

The day you are notified of the death does not count if you leave work early
Immediate family includes:

Non-Immediate Family
Up to four (4) hours of unpaid bereavement leave may be granted to attend the funeral of a non-immediate family member, if it does not create an undue hardship for operations.
In some cases, LWG may request reasonable verification related to the need for bereavement leave, as permitted by law. LWG complies with all applicable state and local bereavement leave laws.
