Who Is Eligible?

You may be eligible if you:

  • Are a full-time, regular employee

  • Have completed one consecutive year of employment

  • Receive advance approval from your supervisor

  • Submit completion documentation to HR

 

What Types of Education Are Covered?

Professional development must relate to your current role or career path within LWG.

Common approved examples include:

  • College or university courses related to your role

  • Degree programs (e.g., Business, HR, Finance, IT)

  • Professional certifications (SHRM, PHR, CPA prep, PMP, IT certifications)

  • Leadership seminars or webinars

  • Professional organization memberships and subscriptions

 

How Do I Request Approval?

Before enrolling or paying for coursework:

  1. Submit a request to your direct supervisor

  2. Include:

    • Course or certification name

    • Job relevance

    • Cost

    • Dates and schedule

    • Institution or provider

Approval must be received before enrollment or payment.

 

Reimbursement Amount & Time Off

  • Up to $750 per calendar year

  • Funds do not roll over

  • Up to five (5) approved workdays per year, subject to business needs

 

Degree Program Reimbursement Rules

  • Grade A: 100% reimbursement

  • Grade B: 75% reimbursement

  • Below C: Not eligible

  • Pass/Fail: 100% reimbursable if passed

 

Payback Requirement

If employment ends within one year of reimbursement, repayment may be required, as permitted by law.
