Employee Dayforce Quick-Start Navigation Guide

Quick Answer

The Dayforce Employee Portal allows you to view and manage your pay, benefits, schedule, time, and personal information. This guide shows you where to go for the most common actions.

 

Step 1: Log In to Dayforce

  1. Go to the Dayforce login page or open the Dayforce mobile app.

  2. Enter your company ID (lwg), username, and password.

  3. Select Log In.

  4. Confirm you are viewing your Employee profile.

 

Step 2: Use the Left-Hand Menu to Navigate ( icon)

Use the left-hand menu to access different areas of Dayforce:

 

Home/Hub Page

  • View company announcements and reminders

  • Access helpful policies and documents (LWG Safety Manual, LWG Employee Handbook, etc.)

  • Access featured links, including the HR Knowledge Base

 

Profile

Use this section to manage your personal information and forms.

Common actions:

  • Update address, phone number, or email

  • Add or update emergency contacts

  • Set up or change direct deposit

  • Complete tax forms (W-4, state tax forms)

  • and more!

 

Work

Use this section for time-away related actions.

Common actions:

  • Request PTO (Time Away List)

  • View PTO balances

  • Review time off history

 

Benefits

Use this section to review benefit information.

Common actions:

  • Access active enrollments (e.g., open enrollment, new hire enrollment, qualifying event enrollment)

  • View current benefit elections

  • Review benefit summaries

  • Access benefits links and carrier access/contact information.

  • Access beneficiary information

  • Review benefit election history

  • Access benefit forms, such as Current Beneficiary Information and Life Event Declaration forms

 

Earnings

Use this section to review pay information.

Common actions:

  • View, print, or download pay statements

  • View, print, or download year end tax forms (W-2's, 1099's, etc.)

  • Review earnings history

 

Schedules

Use this section to view your work schedule.

Common actions:

  • View upcoming shifts

  • Review past schedules

 

Employee Timesheet

Use this section to manage time punches.

Common actions:

  • Review your timesheet

  • Identify missed or incorrect punches

  • Authorize time records

 

Step 3: Find and Submit Forms

  1. Select Profile from the left-hand menu.

  2. Select the Forms tab at the top of the page.

  3. Choose a form from the appropriate form category (Personal, Benefits, Tax Forms, etc.).

  4. Complete and submit the form (please review all information for accuracy before submission)

 

When to Use Dayforce vs. Contact HR

Use Dayforce for:

  • Updating general personal information (contact information, address, emergency contact information, etc.)

  • Submitting forms (direct deposit, tax elections, etc.)

  • Viewing pay, benefits, and schedules

  • Requesting time off

Contact HR through HappyFox if:

  • You need to correct or update your legal name or Social Security number

  • You cannot complete an action in Dayforce

  • You have benefit eligibility, policy, or system questions

 

Helpful Tip

Using Dayforce correctly helps ensure accurate payroll, benefits, and records. Your Store Manager or Director can help with basic access issues. HR is available for support when self-service options are not available.
